Nose

Beautifully deep, gentle and mature with dusty vanilla oak, dried fruit and slightly mentholated herbs. Pretty malty with some developing Armagnac-esque raisin and plum.

Palate

Very classy, opening with dried sherried fruitcake mix and a good dollop of mature oak. A little grainy nip on the middle balances. Very mouth-filling with some rum-like dried fruit appearing. \n

Finish

Long and gently spiced with hints of cardamom, cinnamon and toasted oak. \n

Now, that’s an example of a fine blended whisky!
