Nose: A sweetly perfumed nose: all coffee bean, chocolate and coconut: like Bounty bar and Milky Way smooshed together along with honey/vanilla, smoky wood and winey notes: dried apricot, soaked raisins.
Palate: Silky texture which grips nicely mid-palate. Flavours of honey, violet, spices, soft black fruits.
Finish: Spicy with little oak.
Comment: Good balance with lots of extractive flavours. Oscar Peterson.
Nose: Soft, nutty (walnuts). Rich, spicy.
Palate: Smooth, cream, rounded. Bittersweet chocolate.
Finish: Black chocolate. Long.
Comment: The richest-tasting Canadian whisky I have tasted. Wins points for luxury.
