Nose

Hard, industrial with baked fruit, earth and dusty spice. A touch of balancing honey appears.

Palate

A little more caramel oak but the focus is still on the hard as nails barley and industrial character. Slightly earthy and a little bitter on the middle. \n

Finish

Good length, although a little spirity with lingering baked fruit, coffee and herbal spice.

Comment

Not a style of whisky that I get on with and this doesn’t have enough balancing sweetness from either fruit or spirit.
