Nose
Fruity, intense. Pear drops, lemon curd. Orangey notes, halfway between flowers and fruit. Quince jam.
Palate
Smooth. Citrus fruits. Orange sherbet, candied orange peel. Nougat. Wood easily dominates.
Finish
Quite dry, but fresh with a delicate mintiness.
Comment
A rich, smooth expression of The Macallan. Relatively light in colour. Seems stronger than it really is.
