Nose

Crunchie bars with a little blueberry then rubbery notes suggesting ex-sherry casks at work. Better with water. Malty/nutty with some liquorice.

Palate

Rosehips and a slightly syrupy quality. Chewy,glossy,gingery. There's a lot of oak in here alongside hazelnut chocolate. Just a little flabby which\rpulls it down a notch.

Finish

Oaky,slightly drying. Hint of smoke.

Seems to be slightly hidden somehow. Maybe it just needs time to settle in the bottle.
