Nose

Supple mocha aromas with some mature, spicy, almost Armagnac-esque dried fruit. Hints of violets, incense and perfumed spice appear along with some beautifully aromatic vanilla pod and hints of honey.

Palate

Soft and silky with toffee coated corn, mature honey and sweet spices. The oak is again quite subtle adding a light vanilla sheen. Late biting, herbal spices give it a bit of a kick. \n

Finish

Good length with the Armagnac-esque dried fruit coming through along with lingering herbal rye. \n

Wonderfully mature and quite subtle.
