Nose
Sweet. Reminiscent of throat sweets, then nettle cordial and macaroons before the smoke begins to drift out. Light seashore aromas.
Palate
Burst of phenols to start, then parma violet. Concentrated and lightly perfumed. Hint of lavender. Silky and smooth with excellent length.
Finish
Ever lasting mixing smoke and vanilla.
Comment
A blend of lightly peated older laddie and some new heavily peated Port Charlotte it is typical for Islay, but atypical for Bruichladdich.
