Nose
Initially malty, becoming rounded and buttery with water. There's olde English marmalade, delicate woodsmoke wood shavings, log, cigar ash.
Palate
Lightly perfumed and quite sweet. Orange peel, stewed apricot, tinned prune and aromatic smoke. Long and smooth.
Finish
Dry, ash-like.
Comment
A good introductory malt.
