Nose

Malty/mashy notes. Draff steaming in the cold air. Barley sugar with a hint of pear,stewed apple and light almond. Fragrant,with some burnt wood.

Palate

Acidic,mouth watering start then a creamy mid-palate. Rounded and apple like mid-palate. The acidity returns towards the finish. Very clean.

Finish

Tingling.

Comment

Well controlled. Wood just coming into play and despite the sulphur it's a pleasing light,sweet spirit.
