Nose
Shows good maturity. Oak-driven and spicy with soft, sweet, black fruits - blueberry and sloe. Lightly vinous with plum jam, apple, light chocolate, dried cherry. Slightly mossy.
Palate
Balanced. Soft fruits backed with crisp sweet oak. Gentle, fleshy and smooth with a tongue-coating quality. Damson-stone bitterness gives balance and stops it being too jammy.
Finish
Clean, thick, sweet.
Comment
A new land for Glenfiddich and the drinker. Recommended.
