Tasting Notes

Nose

Neat there's apple skin, some earthy smokiness and a slightly musty wood. Hay. Water brings out peat which grows in intensity. Pretty tense.

Palate

Highly aromatic and zesty with apple blossom then the smoke begins to drift through. Shows very good balance when water is added. Cayenne. Appetising. Just entering maturity.

Finish

Lightly nutty.

Drink over ice.
