Nose
Malty/nutty to start with a little cedar and marmalade. Intense and quite fresh. In time it sweetens showing classic sherried notes: walnut and currant.
Palate
Nutty with blackcurrant leaf. There's a hint of sulphur and a youthful feel despite a thick, sweet mid palate.
Finish
Malty.
Comment
It's fine, but only suitable for a lighter stogie. Not a patch on the old version I'm afraid.
