Nose
A big sherry influence, with polished wood, Brazil nut shells, a hint of struck\rmatch/sandpaper, dark chocolate and turned earth.
Palate
Chocolate malt, bitter cocoa, some burnt caramel, dried fruits (dates and figs) and molasses. As dark in flavour as you could get. Then one darker.
Finish
The remnants of dried fruit mix with some oaky dryness.
Comment
A bold statement, this one. If you like heavily sherried drams, this will appeal, if not, perhaps time to reconsider.
