Age: No age statement Years Old
Style: Single Malt
Very unusual on the first nosing - artichoke hearts, broad beans, nettles and fresh gooseberries. Very vegetative indeed.
The gooseberries continue to the palate, with a salty note, some hidden creaminess and tart lemon juice.
The finish develops more of a creaminess alongside some woody spice -a touch of liquorice root and oak.
Not unpleasant, but not without fault either. An enigma this one.
