Taster

Nose: Not too much going on - dumb nose flattens out further when reduced.

Palate: Lots of wood influence dominating the whisky. Dried out and lacking passion.

Finish: Medium and warming.

Comment: As a fan of Benromach, I was surprised at how little character came through and felt that the whisky had been overpowered.
