Taster
Nose: Pear drops, fresh apricot, star anise, vanilla and dream topping.
Palate: Spice is the order of the day here, which overpowers the vanilla a little, but does provide a foundation for some red berries and rhum agricole notes to flourish. The sweetness of the grain is again the order of the day here with brown sugars mixing with
Finish: Crème brûlée topping, roast chicken flavour crisps and toffee apple.
Comment: Oddly balanced, I can't work out if I'd mix this or drink it neat. The latter shouts louder, but only just.
