Nose

Restrained. Obvious maturity. Great concentration of mellowed fruits, chestnut puree, caramel flan,faded\rvanilla,some mushroom,leaf mulch.

Palate

Very soft with a beautiful flow of flavours over the tongue. Pontefract cakes (liquorice),hot cross buns. A\r'slow' whisky. Then just as it seems to be dying like an autumn bonfire...

Finish

...the spices light up the finish.

You need to concentrate hard on this one as it does not give up its complexities immediately.
