Orange liqueur sweetness and a sweet chlorine. Orange peel and banana. With water a little more sherbety, then grassiness, vanilla and blossom. More baked banana.
Palate
Lots of bourbon cask character, with toasted oak and vanilla.
Finish
More US oak and a burnt twig bitterness.
Comment
The overall experience was harmed by the bitterness.
