Fragrant with clean cereal notes. Heather, peat smoke and lanolin (woolly jumpers). Dried thyme. Young.
Palate
Mid-weight with tangerine and incense in the mid-palate mixed with fragrant smoke which builds towards the back of the mouth.
Finish
Good length, quite juicy.
Comment
A fine introduction to peated Islays and a good session malt.
