Nose

Dark chocolate, candied orange peel, heavily polished antique furniture, walnut praline and peach melba. Rich and thick.\r

Palate

A massive hit of damp oak, fresh pine, rich honey (royal jelly) and toasted brown bread. A huge and hot palate, which is tamed slightly with water, enhancing the sulphur notes.

Finish

Dry, with the peach melba and rich honey coming to the fore.

Comment

Probably a little too long in cask, but if seriously mature whisky is your bag, you'll love this.
