Nose

Wonderful soft brown sugar/dark toffee notes on the first sniff with rum steeped cherries, toffee apple and vanilla essence.

Palate

Oily and very nicely mouth coating, with malty brown bread, some salted butter, a return of the dark toffee and stewed fruits.

Finish

Malty, with drying overtones.

Comment

Less complexity on the palate, but the nose can pop round for a visit anytime it likes.
