Nose
Earthy with dry, dusty smokiness. Garden bonfire (dead), then créme brûlée/marshmallows; reminiscent of clay soil. Water calms it, brings out a hidden silkiness. That said, it lacks substance.
Palate
Immediate smoke. Best with a little water which allows banana creaminess to develop.
Finish
The smoke returns.
Comment
Though it feels good just lacking in weight. Maybe it would have improved with another five years in cask.
