Tasting Notes

Nose

Rounded with some rancio - field mushroom. Lightly leathery and supple. Heavily oxidised and slightly feral. Reminiscent of an old manzanilla pasada. Candle wax in a Gothic house.

Palate

Surprising fruitiness comes through, all blue and black fruits then scented woods. Dense but still has energy. Clean, honeyed rich and layered.

Finish

Liquorice.

Comment

A rich and mysterious dram.
