Tasting Notes

Nose

Concentrated. Some mash tun notes to start, sooty phenols and a hint of sulphur. Allow it to open and it picks up: deck oil/resin, mixed nuts, dried fruit, dried plum but also key lime pie.

Palate

Very rich, sweet and caramelised. Flows well on the palate with light dry-roasted spices, dried fruits, burnt sugar, raisin.

Finish

Tingling, long, good.

Comment

Voluptuous. A big bruiser at the perfect point of integration.
