Nose

Exotic. Burnt notes: toffee, dry tea, citrus, walnut, raisin bread. A hint of dust with water.

Palate

Rounded with a sweet burnt note old apple barrels. Good concentration with a savoury edge over a light, raisined core.

Finish

Prickly with attractive spiky oak.

Comment

Exotic and strangely appealing. More intensity and better grip than the Burgundy finish.
