Nose
Lifted floral and fruity notes: lilac, conference pear, lemon zest. With water there's ginger and camomile tea but also slightly plain oak.
Palate
Alcohol burn even at this strength. Water needed to bring out vanilla syrup and blossom. Light, yet firm and unyielding.
Finish
Slightly bitter.
Comment
A fine enough dram, but insubstantial compared to the others in this company.
