Tasting Notes

Nose

Big and sweet with masses of vanilla essence, creme brulee and toffee apple. It's all about the cask rather than the sweet spirit underneath, something that's accentuated with water where there's touches of sawdust and banana.

Palate

Not as hot as the nose suggests. Sweet with tight oak. Softens well on the\rpalate. Better balance than the aroma.

Finish

Short, slightly hot.

Comment

Attractive enough but lacks complexity. There again, it's only 8yo.
