Nose

Malty. Oatcakes. Müesli. Fern, wet leaves. An earthy touch. Cooked apples. Then citrus fruit. Candied orange. A sherry influence but not overwhelming. A floral hint of lilac.

Palate

Smooth, velvety. Incredibly sweet given the alcohol strength. That sweet toffee and treacle gives way to a dry spicy explosion. Oak frames the spices.

Finish

Dry, very spicy, with a slight astringency. Dark orange chocolate.
