Well made. Just needs time in cask to bulk up a little. Just hope they keep\rsome back for longer term aging.

Taster

Nose: Mealy/mashy and cereal (wheat chaff) notes with underlying yeastiness and at the whiff of a beer cellar. Fresh fruitiness, old pear and light florals behind a touch of plasticene suggestive of youth.

Palate: Dry minerality. Light and a little tense, but a clean distillate.

Finish: Fresh and short.

Comment: Well made. Just needs time in cask to bulk up a little. Just hope they keep\rsome back for longer term aging.

Taster

Nose: Nutty and resiny. Toasted hazelnuts. Pine needles. Hint of gorse. Getting earthy on time. Apple skin. With water, formic acid.

Palate: Smooth and soft. Even too soft. Watery at mid palate. The same resin notes. With a touch of eucalyptus. Drying on oaky notes.

Finish: Dry, slightly bitter.

Comment: A sweet-bitter whisky with an unusual taste. Some special oak?
