Nose
Opens with rich, dense, toffeed oak and no shortage of spicy rye battling against the sweet oak. A touch of lazy corn, treacle and dusty spice comes through.
Palate
Gentle fat corn and soft, toasted toffeed oak. Followed by a bullet of bitter, spicy rye. Yes, siree Bob! That rye definitely dominates bringing with it some tongue tingling spice!
Finish
Long with the rye becoming more herbal and the toasted caramel, toffee note becoming a little burnt. But, damn, those spices are bitter!
