Nose
Oaky. Damp wood. An earthy note. Like walking by a heap of apples in a\rNorman orchard on a drecht September day. A distant note of dying bonfire. On time, a more appealing floral note. Marshmallow.
Palate
Quite smooth at first then tightening on an astringent feel and flavour. Oak and dried apple. Dusty spices in the back.
Finish
Dry, dusty and spicy.
Comment
A dour character which lifts up on the nose but not on the palate.
