Tasting Notes

Nose

Espresso coffee, walnut leaves/pickled walnut and dense cacao mixed with rosin and old leather. There's some sweetness behind all of this.

Palate

Definitely towards the lashing leather side. A dram that takes you deep into an old wood: old bark, wet earth, meat stock but there's still somehow some sweetness fighting off the darkness.

Finish

Tight.

Comment

A huge beast of a dram but still sufficient distillery character there.
