Tasting Notes

Nose

Quite 'open', even exposed, initially - there's wood, scented candles and incense - very religious! In time, a lovely dustiness takes over: rose petals.

Palate

Less dusty than the nose with more deep fruits, liquorice and a burnt edge. Seasonally it's late autumn with stout shoes tramping over wet leaves.

Finish

Long and solid and full.

Comment

A big, bold statement and with great balance between cask and spirit.
