Nose

A massive custard-vanilla theme and gentle, mildly peated malt. Oaky, mildly complex but always attractive and effective.

Palate

Mouth-watering. Strong waves of sweet malt. Spicy. Waxier and fuller bodied.

Finish

Excellent length with trademark sweet vanilla recognisable through the wrinkles of oaky old age.

Comment

Shows some signs of deterioration but, like many a good oldie, tells an interesting tale.
