A dense, nutty, heavily sherried nose with touches of chocolate and, in time, a fungal and mulch note.

Palate

Dense again: figgy, chocolate cake, dried Pedro Ximinez/muscatel. Some sulphur. Tannic.

Finish

Tarry.

A beast of a dram. Another case of Longmorn versus wood which has been won by the latter.
