Nose
Elegant and refined with peat smoke to the fore. Raisin, heather and dried fruits. Has real maturity. Light spice and coal dust.
Palate
Rich ripe and long with great layers of dried fruit and subtle scented ash like woodsmoke. Some sweet spice. Multifaceted.
Finish
Spicy. Ashes yet a real life.
Comment
Atypical for a Speysider for sure but what a phenomenal dram this is.
