Tasting Notes

Nose

Intense. Varnish. Exotic wood. Vetiver. A sour fruit note which evokes a rye whiskey. Then vanilla creeps in and heads the way. Sweet and luscious.

Palate

Rich, deep. The same sour fruit note wrapped in creamy vanilla custard. Oak is more present than on the nose.

Finish

Dry, spicy. Ginger and white pepper. Blancmange in the back.

Comment

The balance between sweet and sour is perfect. A grain whisky? I would have thought of an old bourbon.
