Tasting Notes

Nose

Typical Mortlach meatiness with soft ripe banana, bourbon creams, burnt toffee and smoke. In time a sulphury note and some mustiness.

Palate

Starts lightly honeyed then deepens into those roasting tin/meat reduction flavours with a peaty drive. Wood is slightly abrasive.

Finish

Hot, chewy then smoke.

Comment

Considerably less concentrated than other Mortlachs on the market.
