Nose
Classic sherried notes: think cheese rind, sappiness, walnut and a sweetness that brings to mind a mix of damson and molasses.
Palate
Rounded with sufficient supple weight to balance the tannin. This means instead of being butter it's fruity and sweet with a chewy, rather than hard, quality.
Finish
Long and deep.

A classic sherried whisky. Glendronach at 15 Years Old? Perfection. Macallan beware.
