Nose

Earthy peat notes, hint of medicinal bandages, a distinctly floral/heather note, Parma Violets, hazelnuts and cocoa powder.

Palate

Charred pork chops, more of the Parma Violet and medicinal throat lozenges. With water, some tannic orange pekoe tea notes emerge.

Finish

A return of the medicinals, some tablet and lingering floral peat notes.

Comment

Distinct, robust and delightfully elegant in the same glass. A classy offering indeed.
