Nose

A little subdued to begin with but with time and aeration some pleasant barley and white fruit and herbs appear. Lightly citric with an almost ozone fresh grain note and late Bourbon oak.

Palate

Quite oaky and toasty with toffee and a touch of barley. Fairly straightforward but pleasantly deep with the grain powering through.

Finish

Good length with the herbal / botanical grain lingering. Pleasant spiced aftertaste. \n

Comment

A little heavy on the oak on the palate but it’s a pleasant quaffing blend.
