Nose
A faultlessly clean and deep sherry aroma with a mint residue and beautiful lemon notes. Compelling.
Palate
Deep, moderately dry throughout with a slow build up of peppery spices and smoke. Malty, grapey succulence with some cocoa bitterness giving extra complexity.
Finish
Amazingly long and brilliantly weighted, the fruitiness sweetens the malt gracefully.
Comment
A really excellent and classy Aberlour showing amazing complexity for its age.
