Nose

Lovely, mature, dusty oak and barley is balanced by a thread of lithe gooseberry and lime. Fragrant apricot, toasty oak, vanilla and subtle mineral notes appear with time.

Palate

Creamy oak and mature tropical fruit (apricot, banana, melon). Luscious and juicy but the citrus and mineral notes add a touch of austerity.

Finish

Long and succulent with the mature oak returning; citrus and minerals.

An exceptionally well-crafted vatted malt with a lovely balance of maturity and youth.
