Tasting Notes

Nose

Mature. Malty with dark chocolate-covered strawberries, some prune. With water becomes musky with hints of cedar and a gentle relaxed sweetness held in check by quite firm oak.

Palate

Softer than the nose suggests and significantly sweeter. Layers of fruits, cocoa, syrup, demerara sugar, coffee.

Finish

Cigar-like then softens and sweetens.

Comment

Great balance. An exemplary finish.
