Tasting Notes

Nose

Soap, violets, toasted hazelnuts and dried raspberries and cranberries. Orange sauce and honey, with cinnamon and nutmeg, cedar wood and Chinese five spice. Wood smoke through fresh laundry.

Palate

Chewy, nutty, spicy and slightly smoke-laced. Fruitcake slathered with marmalade, while a pipe and its dottle sit nearby. Oily gears and salted padron peppers and hops towards the end.

Finish

Raisins and a whisper of charcoal.

Comment

Rich, complex and rewarding.
