Nose
A full on honey bomb, caramel pennies, honey roasted chicken, open packets of jelly babies. There is a spicy side to it too with a rye bread pep, toasted chilli almonds and cracked black pepper.
Palate
Now the alcohol shows its face, water releases more autumnal notes. A creaminess and hints of Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
Finish
Short and drying. A little salty like bacon rind. Water lengthens and sweetens this out.
Comment
A game of two halves, two totally different personalities with water and neat.
