Nose

Starts off with a nice orange peel and sultana note, before unripe bananas and a slight crayon character. Humbug sweets and cloves.

Palate

Lots of orange juice and peel here, with some panettone, pain aux raisin, and a ginger spice that gives a good framework.

Finish

Sherried notes linger along with wood spice and toasted nuts. Fairly long, quite complex.

Comment

Well balanced with great interplay between the cask and the spirit. Excellent mouthfeel.
