Nose

Quite rich and earthy with a nice sherry note here: dry nuts, orange peel, brown sugar.

Palate

Brighter than anticipated from the nose — lots of caramel, then raspberry chocolate and some zippy orange, a touch of nutmeg and even some treacle later on, but still stays lifted, with the fruitier elements leading.

Finish

Full and rich, with a little woody bitterness and just a hint of spice.
