Nose

Pretzel and quince jelly, dusty hayloft and capsicum. Beneath it all, dried apricots and fresh green pepper. Allspice and dried ginger powder.

Palate

Light bodied. Delicately bready, with white pepper and butter. A foundation of fruits keeps things vibrant, with fresh nectarine and tangerine. A touch of golden syrup sweetness, candied ginger a touch of that capsicum.

Finish

Medium-short. The spices fade, but the sweet fruits linger.

Comment

Foundations of complexity, but still has a little growing up to do in my view.
