An easy whisky but seems a little thin, especially on the palate.

Nose: Sweet, custard and vanilla pastry, baked apple pie, hints of cinnamon and buttered cornbread. Oak tannins and grainy tablet.
Palate: A honey sweetness at first, but almost seems to be watered down. Gentle to start then the spices begin to build.
Finish: Gentle with those cinnamon and apple notes.
Comment: An easy whisky but seems a little thin, especially on the palate.

Taster
Nose: Fruity and sweet. Very 'appley'
Palate: Sweet and round. But weak at start. Slightly watery. Drying and getting\rastringent in time.
Finish: Dry, bitter with a touch of soft spices.
Comment: The nose delivers a fruity bouquet but the palate is a bit dismantled. An old\rbut tired dram. Would have benefitted from a higher strength.
Score: 7.3
